Booth House is a resettlement hostel managed by the Salvation Army. The Art Group has been running for several years and gives our clients the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts on a weekly basis; it gives them an opportunity to enjoy the chance to create art in a variety of mediums.

David H Jones studied painting at Bristol and has a studio overlooking the Lambourn Downs. His paintings combine colour resonance, mark making and surface texture to create richly energised work.

Pei is a Malaysian born local artist based in Swindon. Her artistic style can best be described as fanciful, eclectic and dreamy.
Many of her paintings are based around the female form, but these figures may take many guises.

Visitors will see that I enjoy using traditional techniques for recording and mark making and these skills have now been developed further into designing with computers and machine embroidery.
Printing, painting and construction techniques have also been used in my textiles. Recently my work has been abstract involving lots of colour. My sketchbooks play a vital part in the progress of my work, which vary in scale, colour, content and style. A selection of large and small work will be on show and to purchase as well as my sketchbooks (sketchbooks for exhibition only). I will be working in my studio during opening times, and will be available to discuss my work. If you wish to visit outside the publicised opening times, please contact to arrange. There is also more work at a joint exhibition with Bev Greig at the Landing Arts Gallery at the Arts Centre in Old Town Swindon.
